Margaux

Wildes District worked with Margaux to launch a brand new, fully redesigned and rebuilt website. Margaux is a direct-to consumer footwear brand for the modern woman, crafted in Spain from Italian leather and available in a wide range of fit options. After the launch of the core site, we worked with them again later to launch a bespoke bridal atelier experience where brides can custom design shoes for their special day.

Design details

Using only their logo and their brand navy color, we reimagined a fresh new look & feel for their brand. This new look is classic and refined — with a fresh modern twist. For the design system, we leaned heavily on imagery, and used typography in an elegant, simple way. White space also plays a big role in the design system, which makes the design feel clean & refined. 

For the bridal atelier experience, we brought in a new set of colors specific to the experience, and incorporated whimsical illustrations from renowned illustrator Happy Menocal. This experience also uses a separate set of bright bridal imagery to round out the experience.
